नई दिल्ली. अग्लो ट्रेडिंग जिसका पूरा नाम अल्गोरिदम ट्रेडिंग (Algorithm Trading) है, यह वैसे तो भारत में नया कॉन्सेप्ट है लेकिन इसका इस्तेमाल साल 2008 से ही होता रहा है.
अल्गो ट्रेडिंग को लेकर अभी तक ब्रोकर तय रिटर्न का दावा करते थे, लेकिन पिछले सप्ताह बाजार नियामक सेबी ने इसे लेकर कुछ नियम बना दिए हैं और इसके बाद से ट्रेडिंग की इस नई विधा पर बहस भी शुरू हो गई है. इस बहस को हवा तब मिली जब जिरोधा के फाउंडर निखिल कामत ने अल्गो ट्रेडिंग के तय रिटर्न वाले दावे पर सवाल उठाए. उन्होंने कहा, अभी तक इसे लेकर काफी भ्रम फैलाया जा चुका है.
कैसे होती है अल्गो ट्रेडिंग
अल्गो ट्रेडिंग में स्टॉक की खरीद-फरोख्त पूरी तरह कंप्यूटर के जरिये की जाती है. इसमें स्टॉक चुनने के लिए जिस गणना का उपयोग होता है, वह भी कंप्यूटर द्वारा ही किया जाता है. इसीलिए इसका नाम ऑटोमेटेड या प्रोग्राम्ड ट्रेडिंग भी है. इसके लिए कंप्यूटर में पहले से ही अलग-अलग पैरामीटर्स के हिसाब से गणनाएं फीड की जाती हैं. साथ ही स्टॉक को खरीदना या बेचना है उसका निर्देश, शेयर बाजार का पैटर्न और सभी नियम व शर्ते भी पहले से फीड कर दी जाती हैं. जैसे ही आप बटन दबाते हैं, कंप्यूटर ट्रेडिंग शुरू कर देता है.
इस सिस्टम का लिंक स्टॉक एक्सचेंज के सर्वर से जुड़ा होता है, लिहाजा बाजार की पल-पल की अपडेट भी मिलती रहती है. इसकी मदद से ट्रेडिंग का समय काफी बच जाता है और ब्रोकर को भी सही स्टॉक चुनने में मदद मिलती है. यही कारण है कि अभी तक ब्रोकर यह दावा करते थे कि अल्गो ट्रेडिंग के जरिये तय रिटर्न मिलना आसान है. उनका तर्क था कि यह सिस्टम किसी स्टॉक की भविष्य की संभावनाओं और पुराने प्रदर्शन का सही व सटीक आकलन कर सकता है.
क्यों पड़ी सेबी की निगाह
बाजार नियामक सेबी ने दिसंबर, 2021 में ही कहा था कि वह जल्द ही अल्गो ट्रेडिंग को लेकर कुछ नियम बनाने वाला है. सेबी के दखल देने की सबसे बड़ी वजह यह है कि अभी भारतीय शेयर बाजार में होने वाली करीब 50 फीसदी ट्रेडिंग इसी विधा के जरिये की जाती है. इससे पहले तक यह ट्रेडिंग पूरी तरह नियंत्रण से बाहर थी, लेकिन अब सेबी ने इसे लेकर कुछ नियम बना दिए हैं.
क्या है सेबी का नया नियम
बाजार नियामक ने पिछले सप्ताह एक नोटिफिकेशन जारी कर कहा कि जो भी ब्रोकर अल्गो ट्रेडिंग की सेवाएं देते हैं, वे प्रत्यक्ष या अप्रत्यक्ष किसी भी रूप में स्टॉक के पुराने प्रदर्शन या भविष्य की संभावनाओं की जानकारी अपने उत्पाद के साथ नहीं दे सकेंगे. यह कदम ब्रोकर्स के उन दावों के बाद उठाया गया है, जिसमें अल्गो ट्रेडिंग की मदद से सोशल ट्रेडिंग के लिए 5 सर्वश्रेष्ठ ब्रोकर निवेशकों को तय और ऊंचे रिटर्न का झांसा दिया जाता था.
सेबी ने अपने सर्कुलर में यह भी कहा है कि अगर कोई ब्रोकर या उससे जुड़ी फर्म ने अपनी वेबसाइट या अन्य किसी माध्यम से किए गए प्रचार-प्रसार में अल्गो ट्रेडिंग से जुड़े इन कयासों का उल्लेख किया है तो सर्कुलर जारी होने के 7 दिन के भीतर उसे हटा दिया जाना चाहिए. निवेशकों के हितों को देखते हुए ब्रोकर भविष्य में ऐसा कोई प्रलोभन नहीं दे सकेंगे.
क्या सच में फायदेमंद है अल्गो ट्रेडिंग
भारतीय शेयर बाजार में अल्गो ट्रेडिंग का इस्तेमाल तेजी से बढ़ रहा है और अब तो आधे से ज्यादा ब्रोकर इसी का इस्तेमाल करते हैं. ऐसे में यह तो तय है कि अल्गो ट्रेडिंग कुछ फायदेमंद है, लेकिन इसका सही उपयोग तभी किया जा सकता है, जबकि ब्रोकर को कुछ सटीक जानकारियां मिल सकें. इसमें स्टॉक की हिस्ट्री, उसके आंकड़ों का वेरिफिकेशन और रिस्क मैनेजमेंट की गणना सबसे जरूरी है.
क्यों बढ़ रहा इसका चलन
1-हिस्ट्री की सही समीक्षा : सबसे जरूरी है कि किसी स्टॉक के पिछले प्रदर्शन की सही समीक्षा और उसके बाजार पैटर्न को समझकर ही उसके भविष्य में प्रदर्शन का आकलन लगाना चाहिए, जो कंप्यूटर बेहतर तरीके से करता है.
2-गलतियों की कम गुंजाइश : अल्गो ट्रेडिंग का पूरा काम कंप्यूटर के जरिये होता है. ऐसे में ह्यूमन एरर जैसी चीजों की आशंका शून्य हो जाती है. साथ ही यह रियल टाइम के प्रदर्शन के आधार पर भी स्टॉक का चुनाव कर सकता है.
3-भावनात्मक प्रभाव में कमी : अल्गो ट्रेडिंग में किसी स्टॉक का चुनाव करते समय मानवीय भावनाएं आती हैं, क्योंकि इसकी गणना और चुनाव पूरी तरह से मशीन के हाथ में होता है.

The risk momentum of the past 2 weeks is only accelerating. Equity sentiment is surging with US markets buying on any sign, the economy is not only reopening but will recover at a significantly faster rate than forecasted.

GBP/USD — GBP continues to rally despite the dire scenario the UK finds itself in. It is now within reach of the $1.24 resistance level at $1.2330, a level achieved after the Bank of England's chief economist Haldane stated that the prospect of negative rates from the bank were 'not likely near-term', taking a strong downside risk away.
But risk is even more prevalent in the commodity currencies, with the Aussie Kiwi and NOK now the best performing G10 currencies of the past week with the AUD being the standout.
AUD/USD has now recovered all loss since the March 5 crash and has actually gained since the crisis began. On Tuesday, the pair hits $0.6675 on the news of the government planning to focus on education and industrial relation reforms to boost economic growth, while bulk commodities continue to hold at elevated levels. The clearest example is iron ore, which was at $95.80 a tonne at the time of writing.
NZD/USD is also on a tear as the kiwi economy starts to open up. It's now testing $0.6200 (high of $0.6229 on Tuesday), which is the strongest read since 12 March and the pair looks to be following its trans-Tasman peer on being bid up on any 'recovery hopes'.

Tesla stock rose 1.7% in the pre-market. The shares of Apple, Amazon, and Meta grew 0.7-0.8%.
Consumer spending on Cyber Monday stood at a record 11.6 billion dollars as Americans rushed to buy at bargain prices. The battered stock indices could find support today from oil prices which reversed upwards on Tuesday.
In the early New York trade, the stock market might come under pressure from hawkish comments by Fed policymakers. The economic calendar contains the CB consumer confidence index for November, house prices for September, and the services index by the Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas for November.
